WHY MOULD WISE

Dampness and moisture in the indoor environment can significantly affect air quality, lead to contents and structural damage and adversely affect health - and most of the time it’s hidden.

Our specialised service excels in identifying concealed mould and moisture issues - safeguarding your time, finances, and health. This is essential in an industry where regulations are deficient and the harmful consequences of mould are often downplayed.

What will an inspection involve?

A comprehensive mould and moisture assessment involves a detailed examination of both the interior and exterior areas of a property. This evaluation involves using specialised tools such as thermal imaging devices, digital moisture mapping equipment, and techniques for water vapour assessment.

To accurately determine the property's condition and the extent of any contamination, various environmental sampling methods are employed. The outcome of this assessment is a thorough report and remediation work plan, which will enable a well-rounded remediation strategy. It is crucial that the inspection is conducted on-site and independently, separate from any remediation company. A proper assessment typically lasts between 4 to 5 hours and emphasises the importance of not relying on air sampling as the sole evaluation method.

General symptoms of mould exposure may include:

CHRONIC INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE SYNDROME

RECURRENT INFECTIONS
(such as pneumonia, bronchitis, common colds, tonsillitis, sinusitis, ear infections)

JOINT AND/OR MUSCLE PAIN

SKIN ISSUES LIKE ECZEMA, DERMATITIS AND HIVES

DIGESTIVE ISSUES

HEADACHES, DIZZINESS
AND NAUSEA
